First with The Mentalist's Owain Yeoman! He's so cute there! I loved this part where he talked about working with Simon Baker:
"Simon has a great sense of humor. I think the Aussies and the Brits share a sensibility, that of the lowest common denominator. You might be wearing a new shirt, and you'll wish you hadn't worn it because for the whole day it will be referenced and brought up. He's very compassionate as an actor though. He allows you to be part of his playfulness. It's just like tennis. You're only as good as your competitor. You have to bring your "A" game with your sense of humor. So we have a good hard laugh, but we also work hard."
It's nice to see another set where they are not all hostile divas! I hope that there will be some great behind-the-scenes when the DVDs come out!

And then there's the interview with NCIS's exec Shane Brennan. He's very happy with the ratings this season. They asked him, what his strategy would be once Idol came back. I loved his answer:
"My strategy has been the same since I took over the show last season: To make every episode as good as we can make it. I'm not a great believer in holding back stories, for instance. If I've got a good story, I'll go with it. And when we hit sweeps, we try extra hard. If you take that course, that every episode has to be the best you can do, you end up making, more often than not, episodes that people want to watch."
I hope that last night's ratings will be just as good *crosses both fingers and toes*

Also, I noticed that several people on my flist posted casting spoilers for the latest episodes of NCIS and The Mentalist outside a cut. I wonder if they would have shown the same lack of courtesy if it was Supernatural. Just sayin'...

TV Guide.com's Matt Mitovich posted some spoilers for an upcoming episode of Leverage - beware of spoilers for other shows there! What I really loved though, was this tidbit: "I'm Cherokee Indian, and I've been throwing knives my whole life ... playing with 'em and collecting 'em," says (Chris) Kane, who is also a real-life cook. "It just happened to work out that Eliot doesn't like guns." \o/ Can I love Eliot even more?

Also, I really loved it that according to said spoilers, NCIS stuff... )

And hey, the UK Amazon shipped off my books on Monday - and they are here now! \o/ So, I'm now the proud owner of SG-1 tie-in novels "A Matter of Honor" and "The Cost of Honor" by Sally Malcolm and "Sacrifice Moon" by Julie Fortune. Awesome!
