Manga and other things...

* I'm reading "Yami no Matsuei" (Descendants of Darkness) vol. 3 at the moment and I have to wonder in what GR shelf this one belongs. Is it still non-yaoi or is it already yaoi? Because it's definitely not shoujo anymore and it never was a shounen thing. I mean, Tsuzuki and Hisoka are not lovers, that's for sure, but Muraki... In this volume, it was made obvious that Muraki had raped Hisoka before he killed him and then he assaulted and blackmailed Tsuzuki on the ship... So, is it yaoi or not? *tilts head, confused*

* This review of the latest Eureka ep summed up my misgivings about the show as of late perfectly.

* I have yet to watch any of the new eps of Bones. And I feel no real urge to do it any time soon. I'm not sure why. Last season finale was completely ridiculous and so OOC that it really affected my love for this show :(

Stargate

According to GateWorld, Stargate Universe will start filming in February 2009 but what really... stirred me was this part: "So far Universe is well ahead of Stargate Atlantis in its pre-production time table; for Atlantis, crew personnel were hurriedly building the main set well into the winter -- at the same time that the pilot, "Rising," was still being written."

You know, don't get me wrong, I am looking forward to SGU, I am curious what it'll look like because I love sci-fi. But every comment on how much better SGU's production is than SGA's, how much better SGU will look feels like a stab at SGA's fans, telling us "see here, SGA is over, SGU is where the music plays now". SGA isn't even done filming yet and it already feels like it's dead and buried and they can't wait to burn off the rest of the season as soon as possible so they can fully and completely devote themselves to SGU. And that makes me all kinds of biased against SGU even though I try not be...
