Lucas just sold Lucasfilm to Disney and they immediately announced a new Star Wars movie for 2015!!! OMG! OMGOMGOMG! *runs in circles*

The Walt Disney Company just bought LucasFilm for $4.05 billion in cash and stock, and announced that there will be a new Star Wars movie to be released in 2015! That movie will be Star Wars: Episode 7!!!! It sounds like there will be more as well!

Eeeeeeeeeeep! I hope that Disney will have as much success with SW as it's been having with Marvel's stuff lately! A new SW movie. Who would've thought that?! *flappy hands*

And Den of Geek noted, that means The Avengers 2, Justice League and Star Wars for 2015!!! As a sci-fi fan, I'm in heaven *vbg*

Well, so long as George Lucas isn't allowed within 1 mile of the script (he can provide the plot), I'm happy!

I must nitpick though: SW is fantasy. :>

Nope, not to me. If there are space ships and space battles and robots, it's sci-fi, stuff has a scientific explanation. In fantasy, everything's explained by magic, it just is.

Bad science is still science. In the latest Star Trek movies, the ships BURNED in space, LOL!
