katikatAh, Agron has been finally introduced. I like his dreadlock-less hairdo of S2 better. And now that I've seen his S1 personality, it's even more obvious how different he is with Nasir. Lovely! And it's also interesting that in S1, he was just one of the crowd. In S2, he's one of the leaders. Awesome! It just shows that any of the side characters can be elevated to a major role status.
I felt sorry for Barca and Pietros. Barca was killed even though he stayed true to his master. And Pietros was then raped and abused and died thinking Barca abandoned him... The last part was the saddest thing for me, that he never found out the truth.
I think it's interesting that the roles of Spartacus and Crixus basically switched. Spartacus is now the champion and acting like one too. The hand he had extended to Crixus a long time ago is forgotten - rejected by Crixus himself. But now Crixus accuses Spartacus of not being a team player. Yeah, Crixus, whatever lets you sleep at night. Spartacus now treats you the same way you treated him. I admit that I adored the scene where Spartacus kicked Crixus' ass in front of the recruits!
