I've been converted!

katikatOkay, I've been converted to the beauty that's Agron/Nasir...
Their romance, its progress, the way it's handled, their love and giddiness... It's literally breathtaking, especially in this setting, in the middle of all the death and suffering, it's like a bright, sunny spot. Just... the way they literally beam when they see each other. It's fantastic!
I actually got my hands on all of Spartacus and I'm even thinking of buying it on DVD - I would like to watch it with subtitles because sometimes, when the characters speak with heavy accent, it's hard to understand them. And yes, yes, I know that Nasir doesn't pop up till 202 or so but I would like to see it all, I'm anal-retentive like that :P
And you know what? All the blood and sex and nudity? I'm loving it! O_o Sanitized network shows now feel so... tame to me.
So, I'm spending a lot of time just re-watching the wonderful Agron/Nasir scenes. Yeah, there aren't many but... Did I mention that they are wonderful? Why aren't there more amazing gay couples like Agron and Nasir on TV? Both strong, ruthless fighters, no stereotyping there - and what's wonderful is that their gladiator companions couldn't care less! Today's society has much to learn...
