Fic rec: X-Men: First Class

"Fluorescent" by aaido | Charles/Erik | VERY dark | Erik & Charles end up in something akin to what Erik has always feared, lab rats for some agency, and Erik is used as leverage to force Charles to perform increasingly nasty things for their captors. | ~4.500 words

Charles swallowed thickly, his voice raspy from not being used for much other than screaming the last few days, “I want peace. I want to live in harmony. But we don’t always get what we want. Sometimes we must take it. Sometimes you must have war to win peace and by taking us, they’ve started a war. I intend to end it.”

Yikes, this is dark and so intense. Scary! O.O
