Watching Eureka

SARAH wanted Carter to be happy so that he wouldn't leave her. Aww... I loved the talk between Henry and Nathan about pragmatism. Nathan was right, IMHO, it's all great to be a peace loving free-thinker but someone has to bring in the money so that you can work. And Taggart and Jo! Yay!
The new timeline was awesome, wasn't it? Again, I especially loved Taggart and Jo. But poor Henry. And poor Carter. That was so sad...
And I'm done with S1! My favorite thing about S1 was definitely the Taggart/Jo pairing. That's why I dislike what happens in further seasons, when they drop this pairing first, then drop Taggart completely and give Jo her very own Marty-Sue. Why did the writers of Eureka succumb to straight lines and stopped thinking outside the box is beyond me. Jo's beau is bland and uninteresting. Taggart was crazy but he had a personality. They were all unique individuals. But as the show progressed, all the characters were stream-lined, their quirkiness smoothed out, until they became simply bland... And I think that's the reason why I stopped watching during S3.
