Covert Affairs 106+107
Nov. 25th, 2010 08:51 pmDecided to finally catch up on Covert Affairs since none of my shows is in the next few days.
Wow, Lauren Holly looks like she went through some really bad cosmetic surgeries. Or she lost a lot of weight real fast. Or something. I mean, she's not old, what happened to her? O.o
My favorite part was Auggie helping out his old team. That was a nice touch, that they felt slightly uncomfortable working with him, at least in the beginning, now that he is blind. I guess they felt guilty about him getting hurt on their mission. As Annie said, they loved him like a brother.
I really hope that Auggie knows what he's doing with Liza. And now Annie knows what he's doing. Ouch.
It's awesome that this show doesn't make Auggie look weak even though he's blind. He's still an excellent agent. It was awesome that he was able to ditch the FBI. Or when he kicked the crap out of the bad guy in the dark, that was amazing!
You know what's my favorite part of the series? Well, besides a shirtless Auggie, that is:

The closeness between Annie and Auggie and the budding friendship between Auggie and Jai. I loved it when Jai told Annie that, despite what she might have thought, he liked Auggie. Or when Jai called Auggie a dork, but with such a fondness, it was gentle ribbing, not mockery.
