"Miss Hunter!" June called from the stairs.

Alex stopped by the entrance door and turned towards her. "Yes?"

"Why did you really bring the music box back?" June asked, voice full of concern. "Neal doesn’t need any more problems or heartache in his life."

Alex hesitated slightly, then answered, voice soft, "I still remember our first kiss, remember what he tasted like – vanilla ice and cheap pop." Touching her lips, she smiled. "When you fall for Neal Caffrey, the feeling doesn’t just go away." She shrugged. "You said it yourself – he’s one in a million…"

And with that she left.

:) lovely and I think exactly what the writers want us to think... but I really hope this isn't what season 2 is going to hold :(

I didn't like Alex until the finale. There I actually started liking her a lot. I wouldn't mind learning more about her relationship with Neal, as long as it doesn't hijack the story - which I doubt very much.

Thank you! I really liked the Neal/Alex scenes in the finale - which is weird because usually, I'm in the anti-girl!camp. But Jeff Eastin made her so likable in 114!
