I don't know if anyone on my flist wast watching it, but Lifetime just canceled Witches of East End: link. I kept downloading the show with the intention of binge watching it one day. Now, I guess I'll just delete it because, from what I hear, it ended on a huge cliffhanger and I really hate that. Eh.

ravenela, this might be totally up your alley! Looks amazing. And all the fantastic actors: Julia Ormond, Jenna Dewan-Tatum (Channing Tatum's wife!), Mädchen Amick!

The summary:

Centers on the adventures of a mother and her two adult daughters, both of whom unknowingly are their family's next generation of witches, who lead seemingly quiet, uneventful modern day lives in Long Island's secluded seaside town of North Hampton. When one of the daughters becomes engaged to a young, wealthy newcomer, a series of events forces her mother to admit to her daughters they are, in fact, powerful and immortal witches.

I'm usually not into stuff like this, at least not on a regular basis, but reading this and seeing the promo, I suddenly realized just how much I missed a show like this - ADULT witches, not some teeny boppers! - on TV. Hopefully, it will be good *crosses fingers*

The show will air on Lifetime, starting Sunday Oct. 6!
