I love this series. I'm unabashedly smitten with it and totally, blindly uncritical of it. Shion and Rat are very, very special to me. Their adventures, their relationship, their love for each other... it's all so beautiful. And the style! It's one of the best drawn mangas I've ever come across. I highly recommend it to everybody!

Amazon is telling me that the anime Night Head Genesis will be published in manga format, starting this November. And the mangaka? You Higuri! For real! My most favorite mangaka ever! That means beautiful, amazing drawings, detailed background, pretty, pretty boys... You Higuri equals must-buy for me! \o/

Also, according to Amazon.co.uk, "Gorgeous Carat L'Esperanza Vol. 1" by You Higuri comes out next month already? For real? *dares to hope* "Gorgeous Carat" is the first manga that I ever bought - and my favorite manga still, yes, even after all the years. Floréan and Ray - or Florian and Rey in English - and their adventures, stealing jewels, hunting treasures, fighting against the gorgeous but devilish Azura... I need to re-read it soon!
