don't be dull, be fannish

I had no time to watch anything today, nothing at all, because I spent the whole day installing stuff on my new computer - that runs on Windows 8! Pox on its creators, seriously! So much utterly useless crap! And I still can't figure out how to make Outlook work properly since it refuses to accept my net providers' SMTP address! And then there's stuff like, when I hook up my external drive, a new explorer window pops up automatically. Or when I delete stuff, it doesn't ask me if I'm sure I actually want to do that anymore! It's small stuff but terribly irritating because I have no idea how to turn it off! I un-installed all the pre-installed music and vid apps! I use Winamp and VLC, thank you very much, tiny software that doesn't clog the machine! Like, WTF thought this was a good idea in the first place?
