Wonderful, wonderful movie! I mean, it's dark, it's bloody, it's cruel - yet it's really, really good. I'm so glad I own it on DVD!

I think it's good to see both Centurion and The Eagle because they are two sides of the same coin. In the former, you learn what happened to the 9th - in the latter, Marcus decides to go and search for the legion's eagle. They complete each other, they fit together like two puzzle pieces. But if I had to choose... I would go with Centurion. Don't get me wrong, The Eagle is wonderful and it's eye-poppingly slashy. But there's something about Centurion...

I guess it's Michael Fassbender. He's an amazing, fantastic, brilliant actor - and here he really proves it. Quintus was so incredibly likable and brave and smart. I think this is my 2nd favorite role of Michael's, right after Erik in XMFC. And Olga Kurylenko... Wow! I know that people swoon about Angelina Jolie or Michele Rodriguez, Milla Jovovich and others. For me, it's Olga Kurylenko and Gemma Arterton, they are my kick-ass actresses!

One thing I utterly adored was Arianne the Witch. She and Quintus, I really believed their romance. They had known each other for just a few days but I really, truly believed it. They were both so lonely and desperate. And because of that, the ending was utter perfection for me! It made me so incredibly happy, the film's ending. So very, very happy! \o/

Peeps, if you get the chance to see the movie, do! It really is worth it.

You can watch the trailer for Tom Cruise's sci-fi Oblivion here: link. For some reason, it wouldn't embed. Oh well.

It looks really, really good. And Olga Kurylenko is in it. Too bad, Morgan Freeman is also in it. I hate that actor, what an arrogant, smug man. Icky. But, hey, Olga Kurylenko!!!

I didn't like Quantum of Solace as much as Casino Royale. Maybe it was the weird camera angles, maybe how fake the hotel in the desert looked. There was just something sligtly off about it. I don't know *hands*

What I did like was Olga Kurylenko as Camille. I loved how strong yet vulnerable she was. Female characters don't have to lose all their femininity to be strong, they don't have to be men with breasts to be capable. And Camille was fantastic. I loved how determined she was.

I didn't even know/remember that Gemma Arterton was in this movie! I loved Fields. And I felt so sorry for her, the way she was killed was horrible. And I cheered for Bond because of how he took his revenge. That was so twisted and cruel yet so very, very right!

I loved the friendship between Bond and Felix. Felix should get a movie of his own, definitely. I love it when agents in the field don't care about what the higher-uppers say or want, they go at things their own way. I loved that Felix decided to help Bond regardless of that annoying prick of his boss wanted.

Stana Katic! With her hair still short! Her part was so tiny yet she made such an impact on me. I actually loved all the women in this movie, not one of them was a bitch - writers do tend to forget that strong =/= arrogant and bitchy.

And now I can't wait for Skyfall!
