Supernatural S6

I love, really love this BuddyTV article about what's coming in SPN's S6. My favorite part was told by Sera Gamble:

Writer Sera Gamble agreed, saying "Why would you ever try to go bigger than Lucifer?" Instead, her idea for the future of Supernatural is "You just turn left and go a whole other direction. The show has never really been about God and the angels and demons, it's a show about Sam and Dean."

Gamble added, "There has always been a deep well to jump into in the boys' relationship...We have the opportunity to go back from the epic to a more intimate story."

Yes, give me more Sam and Dean and their relationship! That's what's making me come back time and time again! Give me more of that and I'll be a happy turtle!

I think they've done a great job of always keeping it about the relationship. Maybe it's just the way I watch the show, but I've seen all the shows as being mainly about them, even when Lucifer and the angels are around. The Lucifer/Michael arc parallels Sam and Dean's relationship, not the other way around.

I hope they'll find a way to keep Bobby and Cas around, even if they only show up for a few episodes. I'd like to see Bobby and Cas become a team. ^_^

If that doesn't happen, I hope Misha ends up on another show as a regular as long as it's not a show I dislike, especially House.

You know what I would love to see? Castiel becoming Dean's and/or Sam's guardian angel after the showdown. That would keep them around for sure - they do tend to get in a lot of trouble, after all.

I've been enjoying the fact that they've been making Cas care so much about Sam recently. I used to be a total Dean girl, but now I like Sam and Dean evenly. It makes me happy that Cas cares about them both, too. He's no longer willing to sacrifice Sam at all.

I'll be content if S6 is just Sam and Dean. I'll always have my DVDs to rewatch the episodes with Cas, if he isn't in S6. I love Cas, but I know it's never been his show, so I'll be happy even if he's only in fanfic after S5. I do like your suggestion, quite a bit!

Now if they could just get older John back for a couple episodes... ^____^
