The Covenant

Last night, I finally watched The Covenant. The summary says:
Let me tell you, Steven Strait as Caleb and Taylor Kitsch as Pogue are hot as hell, in this one. Caleb and Pogue are the only ones from the bunch who have girlfriends - and I still slash them fiercely! I mean, they call each other in the middle of the night, they break in the school office together and most importantly - the bad guy went after Pogue to get to Caleb. Chase didn't go after Sarah - who was really bland, IMHO - or after Caleb's family, he went after Pogue. The scene where Chase caused Pogue to crash his bike and then he told Pogue in this maniacal voice that he intended to hurt him to get to Caleb... Wow, that was pretty chilling, especially since we didn't see what exactly Chase did in the end, only that Pogue could barely move after, in the hospital bed. Ouch! So yes, I root here for the least favorite pairing in the tiny fandom! Huh.
I think that the CW should turn this movie into a series. It would fit their TVD wave perfectly - gorgeous teenagers with special powers in a gloomy, foggy, creepy private school... Eek! I would jump on that wagon! Ha!
Four young men who belong to a supernatural legacy are forced to battle a fifth power long thought to have died out. Another great force they must contend with is the jealousy and suspicion that threatens to tear them apart.

Their friendship was the only thing with some depth, the way they trusted each other, the way Chase knew he would hurt Caleb if he went after Pogue...
