They made fun of Firefly. Ha! And they dressed Castle as Mal! Ha, some more!

I really liked the case. It was funny, interesting, plot-twist-y... And also very tragic. For once, I got all teary eyed. The actor playing the father was excellent!

Castle babysat an egg! And Beckett helped! And he was bitten by a vampire!

And I love Castle's family. They love each other so much. And Castle's an awesome father. He dropped everything to carve pumpkins with his daughter. And then he dropped everything to pick up his daughter from a party went wrong. He really is awesome!

And the show hit season high at 9.99 million viewers and 2.5/7 A18-49 demo!

OMG, I had to pause at the beginning because I was laughing so hard at the Mal/Firefly reference. And the biting thing was hilarious. This was definitely such an awesome ep! And you're right: very tragic.

Although, now I'd like to read the graphic novel they were writing.

And Castle so wouldn't be as good as it is if it wasn't for his family.

His family is perfect. I remember the actress that plays his mother from Falcon Crest! I'm always glad to see these "forgotten" actors back on TV!
