Ausiello posted his analysis of the best and worst shows this season. And so, I have a question - what's been your favorite and least favorite show this season so far?

I tried three new shows this season: NCIS:LA, The Vampire Diaries and White Collar. I decided to stick with NCIS:LA and WC, TVD I'll buy next year on DVD. It's too serialized to follow week to week, IMHO. On DVD, you can devour it in a week, the whole season. Without hiatuses or breaks.

Old shows that stayed the same, quality-wise that is: Bones, NCIS, Psych, Supernatural, The Mentalist. I've been enjoying them as much as in the previous seasons, which means lotsa!

Old shows that dropped in quality: Numb3rs. The show just feels... tired. I don't know why. I just can't get all excited about it anymore. Colby and David are the only reason why I'm still sticking around.

Old shows that got even better this season: Castle and Leverage.

So, what do you think got better/worse or stayed the same this season? What new shows did you fall in love with or dropped?

The only new shows I'm watching this year are Flash Forward and Stargate Universe. I'm liking both well enough to keep watching, but I wouldn't trade Bones, Supernatural or even Project Runway for either of them. I'm planning to check out V, too.

The only show I've dropped is Huddy House MD, which I pretty much stopped watching after the thing with Kutner, last year.

I heard that FF is based on a novel? But in the book, it's about scientists, not FBI agents... I suspect that this as a serialized show would be better seen as a whole on DVD. Hm. Might check it out :)

You'll have to tell me how you liked V, then :)

I'm still downloading House - but I ffwd through everything but the H/W scenes :P

Oh, I gotta jump in on that-- Also plan to watch V, I liked the old mini-series and series well enough to want to see what they've done with this new version.

I loved the old series - and especially Marc Singer! I was so miffed when they split the main couple, I think it was Mike and Faith? They were gorgeous together! I am curious about the show but I think it'll be too serialized to follow week for week. If it's any good, I will then probably rather buy it on DVD and watch it in one go...

My two new shows this season are White Collar and Flashforward, both of which I am enjoying very much (Flashforward is kind of high stress to watch though). I've tivo'd NCIS:LA but haven't had time to try it yet. Old shows I am still watching: NCIS, Criminal Minds, Supernatural, Psych, Bones, The Closer. I have to admit I've been a little... troubled by certain characterizations on Psych depending on the episode, so that's kind of made me enjoy this season less. I also watch Top Chef :D but I can't say I've enjoyed this season as much either.

Sorry for double comment, this one is under the right username.

White Collar is my new drug of choice. I just hope that they can keep up the high standard they set! NCIS:LA is mostly about the slash for me. The cases are okay but the slash between G. and Sam is... wow!

I didn't like the latest ep of Psych. I was actually kinda disappointed that Gus cared more about his car than about the fact that Shawn was, you know what. That ruined the whole episoe for me. I mean, there's comic relief and then there's OOC behavior!
