* I started reading the SGA big bang fics and I already have a rec for you, my dear friends! MCSHEP --> "The Price That Life Exacts" by Cathalin. When John disappears without a trace during a routine mission, people in a beleaguered Atlantis eventually have to try to move on. Rodney never completely gives up hope of finding John, and though he soldiers on to help Atlantis, a year later he still lives every day with his grief. Words: 60.000+.

* They are thinking of making a Veronica Mars movie? For real? I liked the first season, the second one was passable but the third one boring as hell, to be honest. TPTB killed the show with their love interests/triangles/whatever demands. I fear that this film would be a flop of the second X Files movie proportions...

* As you know, I totally fell in love with the pre-aired pilot of The Mentalist. But in some forums, people diss it for being too similar to Psych. Without having seen the pilot. It annoys me to the ninth hell when people diss something they didn't even see yet, calling it lame/boring/just a copy. It feels too much like fans dissing Woolsey as the commander of Atlantis without giving him a chance. That irked me like you wouldn't believe it! And in the case of The Mentalist it annoys me terribly because the series is great, it has very interesting characters and likable cast. It's just... frustrating' *tears hair out*

Hrmmmm. The idea of a Mars movie worries me just a bit too. But perhaps if they had the right plot, it might actually be pretty good - my biggest problem with that show was that it always stretched out so long. If they'd done 12 episodes instead of 22 a season, it would have worked much better for the show type and whatnot. Hrrmmmmmm. But I actually stopped watching during season 3 - never have gotten around to finishing the last 6 or 7 episodes!

It could be interesting if they turned their plan with Veronica going to an FBI academy into a movie. Otherwise... Meh.
