Supernatural 5x03 - deleted scenes?

Okay, so there were some deleted scenes from Free To Be You And Me featured in the promo? And if I understand it right, the scenes went something like...

Sam having sex with Lindsay? And Dean and Sam missing each other?

I mean, shirtless Sam is always a bonus but that I didn't miss. But the scenes where Sam and Dean thought that they had seen each other and it turned out to be not them - they cut that out? It would have made much more sense, the ep I mean. With those scenes, the connection would be... there, you know, apart but still thinking of each other. Without them, the ep worked but their feelings were much more... subtle so them missing each other was much easier to miss...

So yeah, bummer that they didn't keep that in :( Hopefully, they'll be on the DVDs!

Ah that would explain the credit for the Dean look-a-like on imbd that I was trying to figure out if I missed or not. Although I'd like to have seen them find a look alike for the ginormatron.

I was... kinda happy that Sam didn't have sex with her truth be told (and this goes more towards the fact that they thought about it just cut it) because well why does he have to sleep with every girl he comes across? *shrugs*

I'm really sad that they cut that scene out, the one with the look-a-like *pouts* It would have added much more to the "I miss you" thingy...

That second missing scene, if aired, would have gone a long way in avoiding some of the Dean-bashings. I haven't read them myself but apparently there are people who took what Dean said about being happy etc etc at face value.

Yeah, I don't get all the Dean!hate lately. I mean, I wasn't really fond of Dean at the end of 5x02 either, but I did understand where the writers were coming from. I mean, if the fact that Sam's Lucifer's vessel isn't development enough for the Sam!fans then I don't understand what would.
