Nutshell...
May. 3rd, 2008 04:45 pm--> Yay, new Numb3rs and Moonlight!
--> I finished reading SPN's "Official Companion, S1". I still like the info about filming Route 666 best, hehe :)
--> TVShowsOnDVD.com posted info about the S4 DVDs of Stargate: Atlantis here. The cover looks good - though I don't like that they pushed Ronon into the background behind Sam Carter. That bothers me a bit, to be honest. But John looks so fierce there! ;P And so many, many extras on each disc! I feel tempted to buy the DVDs now...
--> And since I'm already talking about SG:A, you know, it's really funny. Some networks - *cough*theCW*cough* - are convinced that only very young blood can make a successful series, but look at SG:A. Only Jason Momoa is in his twenties, all the others are in their late thirties or early forties and the show is still a hit.
--> Only four chapters of "The Dragons of a Vanished Moon" to go and I'll rid myself of that sucker! *punches air* Then I will be working on Salvatore's "The Legacy", another book in the Drizzt Do'Urden series.
--> My dear flist, I need your help. Some time ago, one of you helped me find the English title of a book/movie. I saw the movie in Polish and it was called Anna do wielkiej potęgi which means something like Anne to Great Power or something like that. It was about a girl who found out that she was just an experiment, a clone of some Jewish scientist that had died during WWII. The organization kidnapped this girl and her brother, who at first resented her for being a clone, rescued her from the facility. And now, I can't find it again and I totally forgot what the correct English title was *head/desk*

Date: 2008-05-03 03:50 pm (UTC)I absolutely know what you're talking about in regards to SGA audience vs. CW mentality. I was totally thinking the same thing. However, people will claim that SGA is a scifi series, and it's already got an established audience, etc, blahblah blahblahblah.
If you don't invest in your series, you're just not going to reap the benefits. And hell, the SGA cast looks stunning. ♥ David Hewlett ♥ That man is so soo pretty. And Joe Flanigan is so hot. And do I even need to talk about Jason or Rachel or even Amanda? They're all so gorgeous.
My heart = totally full of SGA/SGA cast love. *_*

Date: 2008-05-03 04:33 pm (UTC)I just ordered S1 from Amazon! They have it for $24,99 only! And the other seasons too. I just couldn't resist. I'm so bad :D
These days, I tend to buy the shows that I like on DVD. I love the commentaries and all the extras and SG:A has so many! It'll take a month for me to receive it *sigh* but by then, all the present shows will be on hiatus already and I will have some pretty to watch *giddy*
