Musings on supernatural stuff

katikatYou know, Supernatural is the only show that I'm actually afraid to watch. No, not because of the monsters and horrors stories, more like "I love it so much that I fear it'll disappoint me" afraid (I felt the same about Stargate Atlantis). I've never felt like this until the train wreck that was season 3 happened - even after years I still haven't re-watched Red Sky at Morning *shudders in revulsion* - so every ep makes me jittery with anticipation. Will it be awesome? Please, don't let it disappoint me...
Oh, and I'm reading an awesome book at the moment - Adrian Phoenix's "A Rush of Wings", first in the "Maker's Song" series. I can't remember the last time I felt this excited about a book. Patricia Briggs' "Moon Called"? Wen Spencer's "Alien Taste"? And yes, me comparing this book to my all-time favorite series "Ukiah Oregon" is something huge! And yes, it's really ~that~ good! *bounces*
