Musings on supernatural stuff

You know, Supernatural is the only show that I'm actually afraid to watch. No, not because of the monsters and horrors stories, more like "I love it so much that I fear it'll disappoint me" afraid (I felt the same about Stargate Atlantis). I've never felt like this until the train wreck that was season 3 happened - even after years I still haven't re-watched Red Sky at Morning *shudders in revulsion* - so every ep makes me jittery with anticipation. Will it be awesome? Please, don't let it disappoint me...

Oh, and I'm reading an awesome book at the moment - Adrian Phoenix's "A Rush of Wings", first in the "Maker's Song" series. I can't remember the last time I felt this excited about a book. Patricia Briggs' "Moon Called"? Wen Spencer's "Alien Taste"? And yes, me comparing this book to my all-time favorite series "Ukiah Oregon" is something huge! And yes, it's really ~that~ good! *bounces*

Yeah I have that problem as well - although for me it was season 4. that disapointed me so badly.

For me, S4 saved it. If it continued the way S3 was, if they kept Bela, I would have dropped the show despite loving both Sam and Dean, Jared and Jensen. I have had S3 at home for two years now and I haven't even touched it yet, that's how much I disliked the season. Fortunately, S4 was back to rocking again for me :)

heck I haven't even gotten season 4 on DVD yet. I hope this seson will be rocken for me - so far so good I guess.
