Yesterday, I rec'ed the CWRPS fic "Nosce Te Ipsum" in my LJ - and it's really strange but I don't remember any fic in any fandom influencing me to this point, like ever. Jared's attitude, his way of viewing life in general in that particular fic was amazing. So I did a little experiment and I tried to apply that view while surfing the net today and wow, it really did make a difference - several times it stopped me from commenting in a sort of a knee-jerk reaction on stuff other people posted. And it made me feel much better about myself in the process. Wow. Who would have thought that...
