USA Network announced new projects under development at pres tour Wednesday... My favorite candidates that I hope get picked up?

CRASH DUMMIES: A veteran Hollywood stuntman, his reluctant son and a team of offbeat movie magic specialists. John Schneider stars.

GOOD COP, BAD COP: Sibling rivalry is taken to new heights when an estranged brother and sister are paired up as cops in their small hometown.

BUSY BODIES: A soccer mom teams up with a gay stay-at-home dad to solve mysteries in the suburbs.

STEPHEN J. CANNELL/SCOTT KAUFER PROJECT: An ex-con car mechanic goes undercover.

GOURMET DETECTIVE: A food detective travels the world and stumbles across mysteries of the palate... and murder.

Awesome! I hope that at least one of these shows gets a pick-up! \o/

The Stephen J Cannell one excites me (um, of course), but the Gourmet Detective one....oh I do loathe the books so very much. I'm not sure I'd tune in.

The ex-con mechanic kinda reminds me of Fast and Furious :P And I had no idea that the Gourmet Detective is a book series.

What I'm most excited about? Busy Bodies. I really hope that it'll get picked up. It would be so refreshing to see a stay-at-home gay dad do the sleuthing! I've never seen that done anywhere, not in books, not on TV.
