1x06, Weekend Wariors: Hey, did you notice that a part of the episode was re-dubbed? In some parts their voices didn't exactly match the way their mouths moved. Shawn was kind of different in this episode, funny but at the same time more serious. And I loved the way he reconstructed the battlefield from memory - he's so smart! But poor, poor gus with that broom on his hat! XD

My favorite quote? Gus: Is that Lassiter? What died on his face?

1x07, Who Ya Gonna Call: My favorite part? Shawn noticing the lipstick on Gus' forehead and taking a print XD

Shawn: Good morning, detectives! Collecting donations for the policeman's ball?
Lassiter: We don't have balls.
[pause]
Shawn: I honestly have no response to that.

Gus: I've got a cold spot. Right here, feel it?
Shawn: Yes... yes, I do. Robert, we've definitely got something here.
[lowers his voice]
Shawn: You're standing under a vent.

Lassiter: Need I remind you, Mr. Spencer, what happens when you interfere with a police investigation?
Shawn: Uh... the case gets solved?

And I've come to the conclusion that I don't like Henry Spencer as a Dad. I don't know who's worse, he or John Winchester X(

Hey, I watched Weekend Warriors today too!

On the commentary they said they had to do some ADR, that's probably what you noticed.

I don't know- I like Henry, because I think, even in the flashbacks, that its clear he cares for Shawn. John, on the other hand, still don't like.

It's possible that it was the ADR thingy. I noticed the same in 1x07, I think.

Henry can be a total jerk some times. I don't doubt that he loves Shawn but I find his parenting methods lacking a lot. Like when Gus asked him if his father never told him that he loved him.

John Winchester was a bad father period. He cared more for revenge than for his own kids and then it was too late.

Oh, I'd forgotton that! Poor Shawn! I NEED S2, I think I'm going to have to get the R1 release, although I've got hit with customs duties for R1 dvds in the past.
