katikatMy flist exploded with the news about Ianto's death. Shucks. I suspected that they would do something like that with how cute and cuddly Jack and Ianto had been in the first eps of this mini-series, but I'm still disappointed. If Ianto actually stays dead then TPTB shot themselves in the foot big time because he and Jack are so hugely popular as a couple that there would be mass exodus of fans - on the other hand, homophobes would cheer, that's for sure.
I really hope that they will somehow "fix it" because if not, I won't be buying this mini-series on DVD or watching anything TW-related in the future. I do watch TW because of Cpt. Jack but Jack without Ianto is like Wooster without Jeeves, they would probably make it work somehow but TW would definitely lose its charm, what made it special.
