Joe Flanigan is a beautiful, beautiful person, inside and out

sheafrotherdon posted a partial transcript of the interview with Joe Flanigan that will appear on the S5 DVD box set that's already available from the UK Amazon in parts.

Without David Hewlett I don't know that I could have pulled off a hundred episodes. Without that laughter I'm not sure I could have pulled this off. He had us cracking up almost every day, and sometimes, like, uncontrollably cracking up. I think that some of the best moments in the show, that I felt, from my perspective, were with, uh, me and him.

He has a tremendous kind of depth as an actor that a lot of people don't see, uh, because he's manically talking and freaking out and stuff, but he has the capacity to really go from zero to a hundred and anything in between.

Uh, Jason Momoa. Ahhhhh, what can you say? I think he pretty much broke the mold; that kid is, he is an endless source of entertainment for me. He's also my roommate. I was fine with that.

We enjoy each other's company, and to be honest with you, sometimes he doesn't have the same shooting schedule and he'll be gone for a week, and I'm, like, I'm, I'm kinda lonely, I'm like, Christ, I'm really bored. I'm in my hotel room by myself, ordering room service, this is no fun! I'm with him, like, you know, little bit of trouble follows us, but it's, it's always entertaining [snicker].

If we didn't have Rachel we'd be in serious trouble; for one, we'd just be a bunch of pretty much sweaty guys running around. Um, but we give her a really hard time, and she just, for some reason, takes the bait. It's, um. But she's a sweetheart, and uh, it's been fun watching her have a child, be a mom, and do all those things, and um, yeah. And she's gonna be beautiful for the rest of her life.

If I didn't love Joe to pieces already, I would have fallen for him hard after reading this. This is simply beautiful...

I try not to learn too much about actors but with Joe, I eat-up all his words. With each new interview I love him more and more because of his humor, warmth and sincerity

I love how completely... normal he is. No hollywooding, no arrogance. Just a man who loves to work with people he likes. I can't wait to see this interview!
