Back from Prague! And SPN!

I'm back from Prague. The Book Fair was lotsa fun! My boss had a beautiful stand, we sold many books, Markus Heitz was a lot of fun and I even managed to be on a podium in front of a hall full of people - Markus was presenting an award and I was interpreting for the masses, with a microphone and all! Yikes! And we met two of our ministers too, they both attended the fair. So yeah, lotsa fun.

And as soon as I came back, I downloaded the SPN finale and I watched it and I loved it and I have some completely random observations...

* Was it just me or did it really sound like Castiel wanted Dean to have his paradise, happiness forever and all? Cas seems to be doing a lot of things just for Dean!

* So, Dean has to obey the angels now - does that mean that when they order him to do something, he will feel the compulsion to obey even against his own will? I can so see Zachariah ordering "Do it!" and Castiel standing on the other side, urging "Don't do it, Dean!"

* I wonder if Lucifer will somehow end up in Dean - Sam would be way too obvious at this point. Dean on the other hand... I wonder, if Dean's eyes would glow green - Jensen has such beautiful eyes it would be a shame not to use it.

* I didn't like Bobby's speech - if there's one person who never expected an apple pie from their family, it's Dean.

* I really liked Ruby. The actress, the revelation of her plans, everything!

* Sam's horrified expression when he realized what he had done! His black eyes! He helped Dean kill Ruby!

* The boys together again!

Also - both Jared and Jensen were really pretty in this ep. Especially Jensen. He's simply stunning! \o/

Seriously? You liked Cortese? I don't think she fit the role nearly as well as Cassidy did. Too soft and not sarcastic or kick-ass enough to make her any fun.

Yup, I liked Cortese. And I liked Cassidy too. Cassidy was bitchy and snarky. Cortese was softer, trying to appeal. Now that Ruby's plans are revelead, it makes sense - bitchy didn't really push Sam where she needed him, so she appealed to his soft heart. I liked them both. So far, the only character that I disliked with vengence was Bela - that character was simply nauseauting. Ruby I liked in both of her "incarnations".

Bobby's speech to Dean spoiled an otherwise wonderful episode for me. That, and Zachariah. But I'm going to put that to bad writing and not think too much about it.

I'm thinking that the premier for S5 will see the boys on the run, probably with Castiel. Though hopefully he won't be with them ALL the time :)

Yeah, that speech was quite OOC for Bobby, especially after the S2 ending. I mean, if Dean doesn't say "stop, no more", the Winchester family will destroy him.

I'm really looking forward to S5 now :) But I do hope that the boys do talk soon! There are so many misunderstandings and things left unsaid between them...

God, THANK YOU. I've seen so much cheering for Bobby there and how that was "exactly what they wanted to tell Dean/what Dean needed to hear".

I felt like this was the antithesis of Bobby in the Season 2 Finale. This one would have probably told Dean after the soul-selling "good job, you are supposed to sell your soul for family."

It was really OOC for Bobby. He always told Dean that he shouldn't keep on sacrificing himself for his family. And now he tells him that he should stop whining and run after Sam - AGAIN!

And it pisses me off that people complain about how whiny Dean is. Right, his whole life is one huge disaster and it finally catches up with him and he gets depressed and immediately, he's a whiny bitch. But Sam of course is a woobie who has the right to complain *snorts*

I did love Bobby for what he told Dean about John, that Dean was the better man. Dean needs positive reinforcement like whoa. The other stuff... it is unfair to expect Dean will keep sacrificing himself for the family time and time again. On the other hand, if Dean doesn't do it, who will? Bobby has no chance in hell of getting through to Sam, and the situation was dire. Besides, even if it is unfair, Bobby had to say it. If Dean didn't go and fight for his brother as long as they both lived, he would drown in his own guilt. I don't think Dean is prepared to handle living for himself.

I loved Sam's broken apology. I loved that he held Ruby down so that Dean could kill her. I loved them clutching at one another. <3

I would kill to see Lucifer!Dean. Most beautiful angel in existence? Hello? Why yes, you have Jensen Ackles on set!

I am fond of Dean/Castiel, so it warms my heart to see Castiel being so enraptured by Dean.

For me, Dean would be the perfect vessel. And so gorgeous. I doubt that Lucifer would content himself with just anybody. Though it would be cool to see this war go the anime-way - in anime you usually find out that Lucifer is actually one of the good guys, misunderstood and punished for thinking for himself and refusing to bow to unreasonable demands!
