The Listener - all caught up!

I'm now all caught up on The Listener. This must be the most multi-cultural show that I've ever seen. Sure, the main hero Toby is white, but his best friend Osman is from Turkey, Det. Marks is at least half African American, the Doc is Asian, Toby's boss is African American and the guest stars are quite often either black or Asian, there was a Native American guest star too and they even had a transgender girl/boy. It's quite refreshing :)

Toby said that his gift was becoming harder to control - I wonder if they will play with that in the five eps that remain.

And there was some great material for h/c fics - Toby saw a girl get raped through her own eyes, he was in her head, he felt it. I wonder how that would affect him. There won't be any consequences in the show itself, of course, but it would be great to see it in a fic.

I don't think that they would have mentioned about his gift becoming harder to control, if they weren't going to play with it. Well, at least that's what I'm hoping as Toby is always the rescuer, it would be nice to see him rescued for one!

He did seem to be able to stay detached though, I think, it was really Charlie that lost it and of course, we found out why...

I was mostly talking about the scene where he looked into the girl's mind with Charlie's permission, when he realized that the girl really was raped, he couldn't breath there. Charlie was suddenly so worried about him.
