I'm now the proud owner of S6 of SG-1, you know, the only season during which Daniel wasn't a part of the team - and it was also the season when SG-1 lost me as a regular viewer. I mean, I admit freely that I'm a Daniel!girl - just like I'm a Sheppard!girl on SGA - and without him, the show just didn't interest me that much. Looking back now, S6 offers a great opportunity for character exploration and Daniel's return is truly spectacular but at that time... After S6 and even after Daniel's return, I was never able to get back on the horse, so to speak. I only caught an ep here or there, never watched it regularly again, that's why I'm looking forward to the DVDs - even though I have no idea when I will actually have the time to watch them :P

I never liked Jonas much. Not that I hated him or something. But he just wasn't Daniel. I mean, if Jonas was in there from the beginning, I might have loved him but as it was, he was just a poor replacement :P

I didn't like Jonas much. After Daniel, he never clicked for me. I would have liked to see him later as a recurring character but not really as a part of the main team.

S6 was when they lost me, too. I never got back into it after that.

I'm now looking forward to the DVDs though. I mean, it'll be a completely new experience and many of the episodes will be new for me. Kinda cool :P
