This is the best and at the same time my least favorite part of the "PsyCop" series. Confusing? Actually, it's easy to explain.
I loved the rich details about Vic's background, the case that he was working on and finding out more about Jacob. But! I'm not a big fan of government conspiracies and the whole "Big Brother is watching you" stuff. I very much prefer "simple" murder cases. And also, in a good portion of this book, Vic behaved like a complete jerk, especially towards Jacob.
So yeah, it's another great installment of the series just the plot itself wasn't my cup of tea.
