katikat | Hirotaka Kisaragi's "BrotherxBrother 3" (manga), #26

Wow, these characters are so fucked up. Pardon my language but when I tried to find a different way to describe them, I came up empty. I mean, Masato, Kaname and Soichiro are brothers, or actually step-brothers through adoption with no real blood connection to each other. Masato was in love with his adoptive father Kaoru. Kaname was terribly abused as a child and conditioned to the point where he now believes that he needs pain to live - which leads to Kaname having a "love affair" with Masato: Masato sees a replacement for Kaoru in Kaname, Kaname needs Masato to "punish" him. Masato's acquaintances are nuts too: Ogi is obsessed with Kaname and Miroku sleeps with everything that moves because he's convinced that only through sex he can figure out what makes people tick. And now insert the sunny Soichiro who is dragged into this mess - and falls hard for Kaname. Oi!
