I really liked this "ninja" story. Yes, what else are the "wetboys" if not ninjas, right? I liked the characters a lot and the story itself was interesting - every tiny detail had a significance of some sort. Though I do think that if there had been fewer characters, the story wouldn't have felt so... scattered, I guess. For example, Logan and Kyllar should have been best friends but they had what, four? five? scenes together? So, because of the abundance of story threads, there was little space left for character development in terms of "showing", instead of "telling". Also, some of the breaks in the story and scene shifts had little to do with logic so you had to take huge leaps to figure out where you were with whom and why. I did feel a bit lost, sometimes - like why did Solon and Feir go to the palace in the end? Just to kill the wytches with the Curoch? But overall, it was a very enjoyable and fast-paced fantasy adventure that made me want to learn what happened next (especially with Jarl ;P).
