It´s the Rai-kirah trilogy. It´s wonderful and so moving. I love the friendship between Seyonne and Aleksander. Slave-turned-wizard and the heir to the Derzhi Empire. And the best friends, too :) Incredibly well written and really worth reading :)

Another great author is Patricia Briggs - as I mentioned over and over and over again in some of my posts already :D Check this site

I love Dragon Bones and Dragon Blood. They are wonderful and even with some m/m action in there. The king was so pervy :D

that truly is a wonderful series of books. I have trouble deciding which one I like better, Seyonne or Aleksander.

I love Seyonne :) But at the same time I adore how Aleksander cares for him! :) I felt so sorry for Seyonne that he lost his melydda at the end of the last book. So sad :( And why couldn´t these two stick together a bit longer? Seyonne would be such a greater adviser for Aleksander!
