NCIS spin-off?

katikatWow, did you see Ausiello's scoop on the two stars that could possibly join the NCIS spin-off?:
On the one hand, this could be awesome: Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J are great actors and their presence on the show would gather much attention! On the other hand, this could be bad: Too big a star doesn't fit well in a team. And the spin-off should be a team-show where the actors would have to jell together, become a team with equal parts and equal amount of attention. Could stars like them manage? I don't know but I really hope so because I won't be watching because of an actor or two but because of the team-spirit - if they can get it. The original NCIS didn't get any movie stars and the actors became a great team, on-screen and off-screen too, they convey the team spirit in a truly amazing way. I do hope that the new show will be able to copy that :)
"CBS declined to comment but multiple sources confirm that Chris O'Donnell and LL Cool J are in final talks to headline the Eye net's forthcoming NCIS spin-off. The 38-year-old O'Donnell would play Callen, a role previously described as 'a human Transformer who can change personas as easily as you or I change clothes.' The 41-year-old LL, meanwhile, is circling the role of Sam Hanna, an ex-Navy SEAL who recently completed stints in both Afghanistan and Iraq."Wow! Who would have thought that they would get such stars for a spin-off? I mean, CBS did get Gary Sinise for CSI:NY but wow!
