GW posted an interview with writer Sally Malcolm who is also the co-owner of Fandemonium that publishes various Stargate tie-in novels. Her career sounds like a fairy tale coming true. I'm glad to see a fanfic writer succeeding so thoroughly in the publishing industry! According to Sally, 18 SG books are out and almost the same number is in various stages in production! Awesome! So many books to look forward to. I just hope that the two new SGA books will come out soon. They should have been published last year already, then this January and still nothing *sigh*

And speaking of books, I ordered Sabine C. Bauer's SG-1 tie-in novel "Trial By Fire" (Amazon.co.uk is the only Amazon that still lists it as "in stock") and Perry Moore's "Hero". I also want to finish Strout's "Dead To Me" this weekend!

You know, I've never read an SG book before. I've seen a couple at Barnes and Noble, but I've never had the money to pick them up. Which ones would you recommend?

Now, I have read one Supernatural book, and I wanted to read the other two, but I can't find them anywhere. *Sigh*

In the SG-1 fandom, I love Julie Fortune's "Sacrifice Moon", the way she shows the readers how much the team members like each other is awesome!

In the SGA fandom, I love Martha Wells' "Entanglement" which is another great team!adventure!

I have yet to read any of the SPN books, although I have all three, but the SG ones have one great advantage: They are written by fans for fans whereas the SPN books are written by writers who were hired to write them before they even saw the show (the way the first SG books were done waaaaaaay back at the beginning of SG-1).

Ah. Do any feature Beckett in them?

All of the SGA books that I read are set before Sunday so Carson is there, sometimes more, sometimes less. But if you want a Carson heavy book, try the audiobook Perchance to Dream which is read by Paul McGillion and is ALL about Carson:

There's an audiobook? Is it a book book or only an audiobook?

It's only an audiobook, it has music and special effects etc. It's really great. You can get it on CD or download it as .mp3.
