SGA's finale...
Jan. 10th, 2009 05:34 pmI watched it - and it was awesome! Full of action and suspense and recurring characters and team! For once I have to applaud to Mallozzi and Mullie. It was a great good-bye to my beloved series...
Incoherent:
* On the one hand, I was sad that they didn't let John fly Atlantis - I mean, it has been his privilege in the past - on the other hand, without needing to fly the city, he had much more to do. And he got to fly the F302!
* It was nice that they worked in Don S. Davis' death, that Gen. Hammond died too. That was quite touching.
* I loved Col. Carter and Lt. Col. Sheppard working together to save Earth!
* Atlantis is Ronon and Teyla's home. Aww...
* Woolsey is awesome, there's no way around it! Just awesome! My favorite Atlantis leader!
* When Ronon died, I teared up, really. That was so sad. But I loved that John wouldn't leave even Ronon's body to the Wraith, that he led them back!
* John on a suicide mission. Again! That man has a death wish! XD
* What's with Mallozzi's desire to pair everybody up? I mean, don't get me wrong, Ronon and Amelia are very cute and that's how Rodney and Jennifer's romance should have been handled - subtly, not with a hammer to the head X(
* I loved the scene where John was finishing Rodney's thoughts. That was eerie XD
* Oooh, the scenes with John and Todd rocked. Joe Flanigan and Chris Heyerdahl have great chemistry! And Todd and John know each other so well... ;D
So yeah, it was really great. It didn't end with a cliffhanger but it did make me want to know what will come next, it left me wanting more. Too bad that the whole season wasn't this good. I feared that after this ep, I would feel... I don't know, empty and depressed, I guess, we lost our favorite show after all, but the finale made me feel... good. And it made me look forward to the movie! If it'll be as good as this episode - little romance, great action - then it'll be awesome \o/
