True Blood and DVDs

So, I watched the pre-aired pilot of True Blood...

One word: BAD. Yes, it deserves capital letters. Oh my gosh that was lame, like really. Bad writing, bad acting (even Anna Paquin), moronic jokes, sex sex sex and very little actual plot (I would say that the plot is just used to tie together obscene scenes) so... *shakes head*

I think I will rather try the books and pass on this series *thumbs down*

I ordered S1 of the TV show I Spy on DVD. Amazon has it for $12.99 only - all 28 eps of season 1 for 13 bucks! That I just had to buy *vbg*

Sex, sex, sex? Really? Aw, that's too bad because there isn't much of that in the books. Well, there's some, but it's not the entire focus of the books. Sometimes there isn't any. The books are really good. I love them. :)

Yeah, it's the sort of "I'm so big, baby, wait 'til I stick it into you" and "*a woman grabbing her breast* they are milk and honey, you just want to lick them" lewd jokes all the time. Every third scene is someone having sex, like really naked people tied up doing it on camera... I don't mind erotic movies but this just makes the show looks cheap X(
