I loved the ep, I really did. I loved their explanation of Ruby, I loved how she seduced Sam, I loved that Sam was shown from his "bad side", I loved how uncomfortable Dean was talking about his younger brother's sex life, I loved the new badie, I loved Anna who I think isn't all that she seems to be, I loved the angels' entrance at the very end, I just loved it as a whole. And I'm happy we are over the funny episodes again. I don't like it when they clump too many humorous eps together. So yeah, I belong in the camp that doesn't mind Sam and Ruby having sex and I prefer nudity to gore, thank you very much - naked bodies are natural, men tearing each other apart isn't.

Ratings: 3.91 mil., 1.6/4 - it'll drop 500 thousands+ in the final numbers thanks to a pre-emption in New York, though *sigh*

And just for the record, you won't find any bitching about Sam being a pervert/rapist/necrophiliac/whatever in this LJ. You want to complain about that? Go somewhere else, please. I find the idea of Sam and Ruby hot! Though I wonder how many of those people who complain cheered for Buffy screwing Angel and Spike.

Booth's brother is a jerk. And I hated that Bones trusted him rather than her long-time partner. But a nice revelation about Booth's background. We know a lot about Bones' screwed-up family but almost nothing about Booth's. And Angela is single again? *rolls eyes* Oh yes, she's so not promiscuous. No, she just changes partners as often as her underwear. I love the temp, trying to work and not sex-up XD Poor Sweets, though. I hate the way everybody treats him! I would love to see some Sweets!angst where the others would realize just how badly they had behaved in the past.

I have to admit I was fairly against Sam and Ruby, before we knew it was a brain-dead coma girl. I still hoped he'd refuse her, but I'm okay with it. So far she is being helpful and since she obviously doesn't replace Dean, in any way, hey, give the girl some love. It's not like she'll get any where she's coming from.

That aside, total agreement. This episode was so much love, brotherly and otherwise. Dean is a major topic on the angel!radio, wheee! ^_____^ And Dean thanking Ruby! XD Never thought we'd live to se the day. :)

I never minded Sam and Ruby because their relationship was never portrayed as healthy and happy. Just the opposite. And it shows just how far Sam has fallen without Dean.

I didn't understand that rapist/necrophilic wank and never will. But being in a fandom this huge, you'd just have to accept that there're people with different ways of thinking, and different ways of voicing them. And I'm so happy that there's none from my flist.

I accept that people have weird ideas and it's their right to express them. That's why I reserved the right to ask them not to do it in my LJ. I want to enjoy my show and some people like to poke holes into everything. I can understand that some episodes aren't everybody's cup of tea but I think that the SPN fandom is simply going too far.

Didn't mind the sex at all but Ruby, the wonderful helpful demon bugs me something fierce. And the implication what a wonderful replacement she was for Dean while Dean was in hell made me give them the finger. As did the horrendous apology which I puked all over.

Apart from everything Ruby-related, I liked the episode. Unfortunately Ruby polluted a lot of it.

I like Ruby. She's different. I didn't like that until she came along, demons were bad and that was that. Boring.

And I didn't mind the apology. Dean still can't stand her guts but she did save his brother's ass *shrugs*

I loved the ep and didn't find anything bad in it.

I'm the exact opposite with Ruby. Unless she turns out to be evil in the end, I can't stand the character. But heck, at least she won't be in too many eps so I can go back to ignoring her.
