I wasn't really impressed by the pilot's plot but I like the characters, Dr. Jacob Hood and his bodyguard, Special Agent Rachel Young, that's for sure. They have a chemistry that Fringe can only dream of, IMHO. It's a sci-fi show so I do expect far-fetched plots but as long as it's interesting...

Though I have to say that the relationship between Hood and Young reminds me a lot of the relationship between Patrick Jane and Teresa Lisbon on The Mentalist - he's the geek, she's the butt-kicker ;) But if I had to choose, I would go with Patrick and Teresa. Don't know why *shrugs*

Se yeah, the premiere wasn't exactly stellar but I will give ep 1x02 a shot. It didn't turn me off completely like the pilot of Fringe did so I will give it another chance :)

I missed the first epi but caught the second one. I'm not sure what I think of it yet, it feels like it needs a little time to find it's feet. And if they're doing a show like that it needs a lot more techno-babble honestly.

That being said *love* Rufus Sewell. *ahem*

I think out of the two shows I preferred Fringe honestly.

For me, Fringe's main obstacle are the characters. I know that people enjoy them but IMHO, they are just bland, no chemistry whatsoever. EH needs to work more on its plots but at least the two main characters sparkle when they are together :)
