* Obviously, some people really love the new 90210. Not that I care, really. Teen dramas about spoiled rich kids are not really my cup of tea anymore. Besides, I think that no matter how (un)successful 90210 will be, Supernatural is doomed. Why?

a) 90210 is a huge success, the network is safe, they'll invest in more teen dramas. SPN is now that they got rid of Friday Night Smackdown the only black sheep in the herd so they'll get rid of it to concentrate more on young female audience or
b) 90210 is a flop, the whole network goes to hell and SPN is done.

Am I being pessimistic? Or just realistic?

* I don't watch Burn Notice, but this spoiler could actually make me watch! XP

I think that depends on the Warner`s involvement. Wrestling wasn`t a show of theirs so they didn`t push for it but with just one more Season (even 18 eps would surfice) they can have themselves a neat 100 episode syndication packet for SPN. And really the CW could burn it off on another time slot or even mid-Season since it wouldn`t matter to them.

From the scuttlebutt I hear they pushed for the Season 3 renewal and if they did that, they`ll likely do it five inches from the finish line. And the CW would likely do it too because it`s a small concession in the grand scheme of things and they need Warner just as much as CBS.

I`m more afraid of option B. Maybe BH 90210 opens with great numbers and then implodes, to me a likely option.

I really do hope that the WB can win one last season for SPN. I mean, Kripke's two-year-deal suggests that they will try but I think I won't count on that and save myself much heart-ache should that not come to be...

I think it will eventually blow off all this B.Hills overnight hit. Of course, everyone will watch after all this huge promotion.

I think that their ratings will be huge for last night's premiere with all the hush-hush that they went through to push the intrigue...
