* Check-ups with my dentist and my regular doctor set! I feel so accomplished XP
* I'm now the proud owner of Stargate: Atlantis, S1! *coos over the shiny*

saidrifter's fault anyway! *points fingers* But with 50% down, who could resist?
* And! I wanted to order Family Album from the US Amazon - who could resist Joe Flanning playing a cute gay character? - but it was sold out so I ordered it from the UK Amazon. I will get it even cheaper from there anyway :)
* Oh, and David Hewlett was in a gay movie too! It's called Ice Men and the other characters are played by Ian Tracey and Martin Cummins! I need to see if it's any good!
* It surprises me a bit that critics praise Joe Flannigan for his portrayal of John Sheppard. Oh, don't me wrong, I adore him in this role and he's amazing, but I would have thought that they would consider him cliche and too much like Jack O'Neill. But from what I read, the critics praise Joe Flannigan and David Hewlett as the best part of the crew. Awesome!
* Also, I wanted to order Thunder in Paradise since it's 50% down too. But then I realized that it's not the whole series, just the three movies. And that's too bad. Hulk Hogan and Chris Lemon were awesome as Spence and Bru. And so gay. I mean, living together out there in the swamps and raising Spence's step-daughter? Too cute for words!

Date: 2008-05-13 03:24 am (UTC)babe, i got my dvds tonight. AND I WANTED TO START WATCHING, but after reading up on my flist, I'm too tired to even open the sets. *faiiiil*
And I'm eager to check out DH's previous works. LET ME KNOW IF YOU FIND ANYTHING INTERSTING.
I have to say, objectively, David Hewlett is the best actor on SGA. Doesn't matter if you like Rodney McKay or not, but if it's not for David Hewlett, Rodney McKay wouldn't be that phenomenal.

PS: I SOOOOO NEED DAVID HEWLETT ICONS. GRRR

Also, I loved it how Joe complimented David's acting skills in the commentary to the pilot. Even though he kept calling him David McKay XD The poor thing ;)
