I went to the movies today. Dark Knight it was - but only because The Mummy 3 aired at an impossible time! X(

I've never been a huge fan of Heath Ledger but here he did a great job. It wouldn't surprise me if he received an Oscar in memoriam. And Christian Bale was great too of course. And Michael Caine. And Morgan Freeman. And... Well, you get my point :P

There were many things that quite surprised me:
- They killed the girl! They really went there and killed the damsel in distress. Wow. I haven't seen that coming!
- Two-Face. Yuckity yuck! That was ugly. So ugly!
- The continuous, non-stop action. There were no slow moments in the movie. Action pure.
- The fact that Gotham was no brooding town but a blossoming community, a real city, not just a dark, damp hole.
- Batman took the blame. All of it. That was dark. Like awfully.
- Batman i Hong Kong! O.O

So, I enjoyed myself tremendously. I liked it better than Iron Man but not as much as Transformers...

I didn't get why everybody was calling Rachel beautiful. Sure, she was pretty but I would never call her a beauty.

I think she had the strange kind of beauty, which is sometimes difficult to grasp.I think she had ordinary face and appearance but she had strong character, which made her beautiful. I think the other factor was that she died.
