Yay for Comic Con!

I have yet to see the clips from the con - from the SPN panel, I saw only the Ghostfacers crashing it, from the SGA panel, I watched the one where Joe F. said he would like to play Carter on the show so that he could get lost in the woods with Jewel Staite XD - but the reports and pictures are so cute!

SPN:
I hope that no one will post the first five minutes of SPN's S4 premiere on the net because that would make Kripke probably regret that he even showed it. Jared and Jensen were so cute together! They looked so relaxed, laughing easily :) It's funny how self-conscious Jensen still is about his voice - and he's a great singer! And Kripke making fun of the rabid fans, releasing misleading info! Ha! XD

Kripke still wants to end the show with S5 - I understand it, I really do and we will be lucky to even get the 5th season (with the dropping ratings and the CW's determination to be a teeny soap channel) but still, it's rather weird to be counting down the eps left. I mean, we are still luckier than, for example, Moonlight fans who got only one season but... I don't know. It's making me nostalgic and the show didn't even end yet XP

And the SGA panel *swoons* I heard that the whole panel is available for seeing on the SCI-FI's home page? I will have to check out if non-Americans can watch it, then.

What I adored?
* Another fan asked if Stargate Universe (another spin-off show) gets green-lit what would that mean for the future of SGA? Brad said, "We aren't done with Atlantis yet."
* Some info was offered about the season four and future season five Atlantis DVD box sets. There are going to be a ton of deleted scenes, and on the season five box set, there will be lots of bloopers, more than on season's four box set.
* When Chris Sanagustin (VP of Original Programming for SCI FI) was asked what the plans for Atlantis were she said, "SCI FI will keep Atlantis around." -> hear me making dolphin noises!!!

Another interesting link: "SG-1 star Christopher Judge was fired from the new season of 24 for not coming across as African enough. For those not in the know: Judge is a towering African-American with a voice like James Earl Jones." -> Are they for real? *rolls eyes* Now I'm happy that I don't watch that show!

I've only dared watch a couple of the SN clips - the Ghostfacers crashing, Jensen talking about getting the script for NRFTW and his reaction to reading about Dean's death, and the one about the singing in the finale. Like you, it kills me how self-conscious Jensen is, bless him. Especially since both Eric and Jared completely take it for granted that he has a great singing voice and defer to him as such. Way too cute.

Okay, that adds up to three clips, not two.

It is killing me that they showed those first five minutes. Especially since my best friend read the description of it, and now she knows and I don't, and it is sooooo tempting. I have to be strong. It will be so much better watching unspoiled, but man. They sure do make it hard! A pox on evil spoilers!

Would you believe that I'm not tempted to see those spoilers? I know that I will enjoy the show much more if I don't know anything about it. Since I expanded my TV horizon - with SGA, Riptide and other shows - I don't feel so tempted to peruse the net for spoilers :D

But it makes me all warm seeing how great friends the J2 are. They are just so... so cuddly together :)

I'm not the slightest bit tempted to go searching the net for spoilers. It's having the links right there in front of me that is so tempting, when they pop up on my f-list, or are scattered among the non-spoilery reports from the Con. But as long as I resist the urge to click those links, if I wait a couple of days I forget what they were, and so the temptation disappears. It's just today, knowing that my friend knows about those first five minutes, that's like an itch I'm longing to scratch. It'll go away. Only a few more weeks now, anyway, right?

Eee~! Had not heard anything about what the people involved with writing/producing SGA are saying about the future of the show, so - thank you! It's very gratifying to know that they're not wanting to give up on it. ♥

As for Christopher Judge getting fired from 24... WTF? I- Oh. My head hurts.

It makes me so happy to hear it from the mouth of the VP of Original Programming for SCI FI! And Brad Wright too. SGA has almost the same ratings as Galactica but it has better 18-49 demo and I think that the merchandise sells better too since Stargate became the new Star Trek :)

Oh, oh, and they said that the new SG-1 movie Continuum was so well received that SCI FI wants a 3rd movie :) That's so cool! The actors can concentrate on their own projects but still have a job certain and the fans keep getting more of what they love :)
