SGA and SPN, what else is new?

Supernatural won two categories in the annual Couch awards on the newsadvance.com site: Best Storyline and Best Cast Chemistry. I loved what the author said about Jared and Jensen: "Supernatural stars Jensen Ackles and Jared Padalecki have such a good rapport that you’d think they were really brothers." Cute! :)

And I just finished watching SGA's ep Michael. Connor Trinneer is so cute! Peter DeLuise and Martin Wood were so excited when they talked about him, about how handsome he is and his blue blue eyes. This episode showed a much darker Atlantis, IMO. They made a morally questionable decision and paid for it. Though I missed the usual Sheppard vs. McKay banter. I think that the previous eps spoiled me XP But the - basically - outsider POV was a very interesting angle.

Only two more eps and I'm done with S2! O.o

Heh. I don`t think they intended for audiences to sympathize as much with Michael as I did because of my residual Enterprise-Trip-love. :)

And he did have a few very good points. Especially with the "so being a wraith is like a disease now?" Sorry humans but just because the species is your enemy, doesn`t mean their evolution into said species isn`t valid.

Of course Shep is right in saying they fight against their annihilation but the whole Atlantis crew missed the bigger point: they have a right to do what they can to protect themselves - but they can`t keep on claiming the moral high ground while they do so. Which they continually did. "We wanted to make your life better." Sure.

Minus Ronon who remained honest and true to himself, no making excuses for morality plays, just he hates Wraith as enemies so I respected him the most.

BTW - I wanted to ask, in some of the song vids, there's a scene where Shep releases the self-destruct mechanism of Atlantis. What ep is it from?

Michael was a very good episode, different. But it showed me that when there's no McShep banter, my attention wanders a bit XP I like Shep in this episode - the whole thing clearly made him uncomfortable but he would use the retrovirus if he could get rid of the Wraith. I liked his attitude: I know it's wrong but I will do it if I have to. A good officer. Ronon just didn't care XD

Well, Shep was the one who used the least excuses, more focused on the military value of it. Teyla and Weir (and Heitmeyer) did most of the "we humans are not cruel as the Wraith yadda yadda" Except you totally are being cruel here, you nitwits. If you feel bad about it and need to white-wash, tough luck. *headdesk*

In the scene, Weir is running towards the gate and stops, he tells her to go and then returns to the control room and lets Atlantis go ka-blooyi XP

It might be ep 6 of Season 3 "The Real World" but I`m not sure. Can`t have been a genuine scene because that I would remember. :D

It is, it is. I mean, it's nothing big but any positive promotion is good :) And it's great that people feel the chemistry between them! It literally makes the show.
