Of manga and introductions

I have won many new friends in storydivagirl's friending meme and so I thought I should tell you something about me... *clears throat*

a) I love Supernatural like a lot. "supernatural" is the tag that I use the most.
b) I really really really hate Bela Talbot to the point of booing aloud when she's on-screen. I have no constraints to bash her in my LJ and I would gladly dance on her grave. I do like Ruby though and I think she kicks ass. Just like Ellen. And Sarah. And Kathleen. Even Jo.
c) I sometimes write fics.
d) English is my third language.
e) I'm 28 and I live in the Czech Republic. I went to the Business Academy, I have a BA in Business German and MA in German Language and Literature and History. And I work as a translator, translating fantasy books from English into Czech.
f) I quite dislike children of any size, shape and age. The little brats give me goosebumps. Though I do love to read kid!fics - I know, I'm weird.
g) I'm quite the TV addict.
h) I love to read books and manga!
i) I'm pro-gay-marriage, pro-gay-rights etc.
j) If you want to see me blow a casket, get in a discussion about organized religion of any sorts with me. I have faith, I do believe in God, but I definitely do not believe that what's stated in the Bible is the one and only truth. If it was, women would still stick at home, barefoot and pregnant!
k) I like smooth jazz and blues, singers like Diana Krall or Sade...
l) Oh, and I try to stay spoiler-free. Uh, I try... I do... Like really... *head/desk*

I've been reading Hirotaka Kisaragi's "Innocent Bird" trilogy these days. Oh my, the style, the details, the angels, the wings... *combusts* BTW, is Hirotaka Kisaragi male or female? *scratches head*

I mostly write dark fantasy. I have an ongoing project about an actor who is a werewolf (that sort of stopped in the middle) a few short peices of fiction about a highschool aged fairy changling. And right this second I'm writting about an interdenominatioal and interfaith Guild of Excorsists that had started out as a comic univers and is now quite seirous (not my strong point - being serious).

I've only written one novel length peice - and it's not worth reading.

LOL, dancing on Bela's grave! I did like her in Bad Day at Black Rock - because that's the only episode that she was supposed to be in. You know, before the CW honchos interfered with Kripke's genius.

Anyhow... *waves* hai friend!

Hehe, I liked her in Bad Day too, in that kind of antagonistic way. It's the rest that made her annoying. As I was told, Kripke planned to turn her into a recurring character, like Henricksen or Gordon or maybe even Bobby. That way, I think she would have worked. It was the fact that they made her a regular without any substance or plan or something like that that killed her. They totally oversatured the show with a character that wasn't developed enough for a step like that. And it's a shame, really, because when I heard about the two new girls, it was actually Bela that I was looking forward to learning more about. Puh :(

I watched a spoilery vid of Kripke at this weekend's con and I LOVED what he said they're going to do with Bela. I have faith in the Krip!
