I just re-watched the wonderful Supernatural ep Provenance and it made me realize how much I love Sarah. I mean, I really truly adore her!

... her "O~Kay" when Sam started to act crazy, again;
... her "you seem uncomfortably comfortable" in the graveyard;
... her "mazel tov" when Sam told her that they didn't get paid.

She rocks! Please, can we have her back? I mean, she would fit the show much more than Bela. She deals with antiquities, with cursed objects! Sarah would be so much better - come on, Sarah was really classy, she didn't just pretend to have style - and definitely more fans (I'm NOT saying all - yes, another disclaimer) liked her! That would so rock!

Her character had potential to appear again and let's cross fingers for that

I'm afraid it's been too long for her to come back which is a bummer, really. She would be a great asset to the show :(

I really liked Sarah, she was sassy but not mean and while she prefered Sam, she didn`t treat Dean like an imbecile. She is a female character I`d definitely like back, along with Hailey from Wendigo for Dean.

Exactly! I love sassy females but I hate bitches. That's why I can't accept Bela. I just can't. Sarah on the other hand showed us that a woman can be strong without degrading the men around her. Why do they have to write the episodic females so well and the regular/recurring once are so dumb?

I can only speculate that with the recurrings they try to fix something that has never been broken and it ends up being total oversell. An episodic female is written smart and tough without being beat over the head with it yet with a recurring/regular it becomes this thing of "she will be on often, therefore she needs to be REALLY smart and tough and whatnot so lets make sure the audience REALLY gets it". Urgh.

Hence we end up with the likes of Bela the oh-so-stylish-wodernful Super-Lara-Croft. Forgetting that Lara Croft was the heroine of her own movies. Writing a supporting character is different from writing a lead. *headdesk*

I can hardly "wait" for Bela in the next episode. Also she is even effing mentioned in the "Jus in Bello" press release (though I think/hope not actually in the episode). God, even the ads totally oversell that useless hag.

And.. Kripke mentioned the chemistry she had with the boys. So he knows she worked with with them!

As much as he liked the chemistry, I fear that she won't be back. It's been too long... I would so love to have her back. I know that it'll sound heretical but she's a character that I would NOT mind riding on the backseat of the Impala *hides*

I hear you there, and completely agree. She was scared, but still strong and not the damsel in distress type.

Totally. She would be a great character to see again. Also, Dean wants Sam to marry her. This is more than enough to bring her back!

Why are the episodic females so great and the regular/recurring once are so annoying?

I didn't really like Sarah, for many reasons. However! Given the choice between her and Bella? I would totally take Sarah! lol. I can't stand Bella! EWWW. And this is coming from someone that doesn't have a problem with female characters on the show. The only one I haven't really liked before Bella being Sarah. And I didn't dislike her so much as was kinda annoyed by her peppiness. heh.

I liked Sarah because her involvement was quite understandable. First they wanted Evelyn's address from her and Evelyn being the family friend, no wonder that Sarah came after them. Then Evelyn was dead and they didn't give her any explanation for that. And then they tell her, it's a ghost! No wonder she wanted a proof. What I liked was that although she went with them, she was willing to listen to them and do what they say, not playing a know-it-all the way for example Jo was portrayed X(

I love her just so much. They had really nice female characters first season.

They really did. Back then, women could be women. Not one-uppers in skirts X(
