It boggles the mind. Why do fans think that Dean will be gone from the show, insinuating that Jensen wants out and that TPTB are setting it for a future Sam+Ruby show? O.o Are the fans that muddled in the head? It's quite annoying to see the "Eeee, Dean's dying, we need to write Kripke and beg him not to take Dean away from us!" posts all over the net *rolls eyes*

For the ep 3x10, the actress who played Ben's mom is listed again. Please, please, don't tell me that Dean's revelation, his change of mind, the need to live on will stem out of the fact that in a dream, she will tell him that Ben IS his son. Please, tell me that's not true *head/desk*

Oh, and Kripke said that after 3x12, the whole FBI storyline will be finished and dealt with. Please, don't tell me that they will kill Henricksen too! That would annoy me quite a lot. First they killed off Gordon and now possibly Henricksen too? (Not to mention Andy or Ash that is) That's two characters that added a LOT to the storyline, they enriched it immensely... And what do we get instead? A deranged, horny Lara Croft *rolls eyes*

Actually I think that would be an interesting motivation for Dean finally getting it through his thick head he wants to live. His life can't always revolve around his brother y'know? Then again it could just be one of those, you could have had this things that SPN loves to torture Dean with.

*sighs* I know what you mean about the fans, it's just... annoying how they're certain how TPTB are always off to destroy the show. It rather makes me wonder what fandoms the other fans have in their backgrounds. *ponders*

Well, I wouldn't mind Ben being Dean's son per se - I mean, I wrote several drabbles about that myself - but the introduction of a child in a series is the beginning of the show's end. First, they get rid of the older females. Then they introduce hot, busty girls with pouty lips and "sex appeal". And then comes the child... See the show Hunter as the best example, among other series. And besides, it would completely change the show's dynamics, more so than the appearance and death of John.

I'm not sure if people from Europe could watch it there - for example Sci-Fi or the CW don't allow it :( And I have to pay for every mb that I download/watch online so I rather download it for safekeeping :P

I'm actually pretty out of fandom at the moment so I've happily NOT seen these 'omg dean's gonna die' things. Are there really talks of like a campaign to keep him? A 'lets write lots of letters and be really annoying' type of thing? Has anyone said anything about a petition, yet?

And you know, what I kinda love about those? If they were to take Dean off (which btw, I highly doubt) I think it would be because of Jensen's choosing. So why campaign to get someone to do something they no longer want to do? You know? Or even if it wasn't his choosing. Would he actually choose to stay at a place he was no longer wanted? Prolly not.

And seriously? A show about Sam and Ruby? Seriously? I would laugh but I just can't seem to. I like Ruby. I've actually grown to be fine with her being on the show. Unlike Bella who is utter squick. But to make a show about her and Sam... I don't think Kripke would contemplate that in his wildest dreams. He's a smart enough man to know that would be the death of his show.

Er. Maybe I'm still a bit, um, dark-moody from earlier. lol.

Exactly! I don't like it when people start petitions when they aren't necessary. Then, when they really ARE needed, nobody is listening to them anymore X(

Besides, without Dean, there is no SPN. A spin-off maybe but not supernatural per se.

I was worried about that same thing, them having Ben as Dean's son. But that has changed after this weeks episode. Ruby told Dean that he would become a demon when he went to hell. Eventually they all become demons. And the promo for next week showed Dean with the black eyes. So I think that Ruby telling him what he would become, and then him dreaming about himself as the one thing he hates most, that is what is going to make him fight like hell not to have it happen.

It's hard to put much faith into this show these days though (for me anyway), so I'll just sit back and hope this is how it plays out. Or, very similar to this anyway. Having nothing to do with a child, or either of the girls.

This is kinda funny, because a brazilian journalist who lives in LA said that he talked to a female producer of SPN (and I can only assume it's Sera because I don't think the show has any other female producer) and she said that SPN may get cancelled because Jared wants out, he wants to spend more time with his family and to rest.

I'm not saying this is true, just reporting what I read. Oh, and it reminds me a lot of esohpe's The Jared Padalecki Untitled Project :)

Well, I would say it's definitely not true. As his mother said, he just bought a house in Vancouver, hoping for SPN to last 5 years.

I would have thought that the filming would affect Jensen more than Jared. I mean, whenever the filming ends, he looks super, awfully tired, ready to simply drop.

And Sera Gamble would prefer for the Winchesters to be SISTERS not BROTHERS. She's nutty in the head X(

It's still the CW's 2nd best scripted show. I'm crossing fingers though that tonight, we do better and not worse X(
