James Marsters has revealed that his girlfriend was thrilled when he had to kiss John Barrowman during an episode of Torchwood.

The actor, who played Spike in Buffy The Vampire Slayer and Angel, said his partner had a long-running fantasy that he would kiss another man.

Marsters guest stars as bisexual Captain John in the second series of the Doctor Who spin-off, and filmed the smooch with his co-star over the summer.

He said: "I had never kissed a man on film before, but luckily my girlfriend was there, and she said it was always a fantasy of hers that I would kiss another man. She thought it was really hot.

I see how excited everybody is about the new artist for the Supernatural comic books... Well, it's not bad - I love the werewolf - but I think that manga spoiled me *points at her icon* When you are used to the gorgeous style of some of the Japanese artists, the American comic book artists don't impress you much *shrugs*

Can someone please tell me what's the difference between blog.cwtv.com and cwsource? I mean, the only real difference that I can see is that the former's crawling up the CW's butt, praising everything they do, while the latter dares to criticize some of their dumber moves. But other than that...

I get what you mean about the manga artists. Then again with manga you get a super idealized pretty boy and they can get tiring after awhile. It's all about sussing out the art and the artists that appeal to you personally. And believe me the first SPN artist was not to my tastes. But there are some fantastic American artists as well.

I know you're not much of a American comics fan but if you ever get the chance might I recommend Enigma? It's a Vertigo title so it's not your typical fare and a mini-series (only 8 issues) and it's, well the arts different but I really think the story would appeal to you.

*ahem* If anything I'm gonna be posting a little of it sometime soon so at least check it out then. ;)

You are right, there are some over the top purty boys in manga but some of the artwork is just awesome, like my Brother x Brother icon by Hirotaka Kisaragi. I find the American style too... rough, I guess, lacking details :(
