Some news from the USA Network...

NBC announced that Monk and Psych would make the jump from basic cable to prime-time broadcast television in March, as the network repurposes shows from NBC-owned USA.

and

TV Guide's Michael Ausiello is reporting that USA is canceling both The 4400 and The Dead Zone.

Yay, more exposure for Psych! Though I feel bad for the fans of The 4400 and The Dead Zone. I was never a fan but that doesn't mean I wanted to see them canceled :(

Oh, and how do we know that the next episode of Supernatural will air Jan 31st? SpoilerFix still lists it for Jan 3rd...

Best guess. Smallville comes back that day, so. :P Plus, it's sweeps, and the networks seem pretty set on having as much original programming as possible during sweeps. *shrug*

(And according to TV Guide and the CW's official listings, on January 3rd a repeat of Sin City will air.)

:( Dammit, not Dead Zone. *sighs* Well I kinda expected it after last season but still *pouts*

So what does that mean then? That Psych and Monk are now going to be on NBC proper? *is very leary about that* See I wouldn't want that because I get visions of some moron getting his hand on the shows and going 'Oh I know this is extremely popular as it is but obviously that means we need to change everything good about them to make them suck'.

Not The 4400, dude! That sucks *pout* I was so looking forward to the new season! And I'm not really happy about the TDZ cancellation either. Though I wasn't downloading the show anymore, just waiting for M6 to air on French TV - still...

As you know, I was a fan of Dead Zone and thank god it was canceled!

The show should have been stopped 2 seasons ago when it still had plot. So do not feel sorry for us :)

I always planned to get into The 4400... I watched the first few episodes, it was pretty decent. Oh well, now I don't have to. XD
